  DISPLACEMENTS AND TRANSPORTATION
 

TERRESTRIAL TRANSPORTATION :

Two options:

Private
I n this case all transportation will be exclusive (clientele and staff).

• Mixed
A part of the transportation is private, and another is achieved with reliable local transportation.

Locomotion Types :

Line buses for the long journeys, middle or small buses for the shorter journeys, double traction vehicles for the difficult approaches, taxicabs or buses for the urban displacements.

   
   
 

AERIAL TRANSPORTATION :

Line planes for the interior displacements (first and second class),helicopter is an option from Cuzco to Machu Picchu, planes and private helicopters on demand.

   
   
 

OTHERS:

Railway displacements between Cuzco-Machu Picchu, Cuzco-Arequipa.

Maritime displacements by sailboat, motor-driven boats, private or local according to the quotation of prices.

Displacement on streams exclusively by boat or motor-driven canoes, sometimes we use oar canoes (specified in the service).

Special services may adapt some circuits for people with physic handicap, assistant carriers foreseen.

   
   
 

LUGGAGE TRANSPORT :

It is foreseen between every stage, on line circuits and in buckle, 12 kg per person maximum for the hikes, beyond that weight foresee a supplement (to be paid by the customer at the site). The portage in hike is done by donkeys, llamas, horses, or vehicles 4x4, it is always included.

In high mountain the load is a supplement and is done by carriers (mountaineers), except in the Inca's Path. I's better to foresee, in standard a carrier for three customers and in superior a carrier for two customers

   

  LODGINGS AND RESTORATION
 

LODGINGS :

In big cities, hotels are three (***) to five (*****)stars class, according to the demanded service and availabilities.

In province, the lodgings are three (***) to five (*****) stars, indicated in the service contract.

In small cities and villages, the best possible lodgings are chosen systematically.

In hike, good quality tents for two persons are foreseen, with meal and water-closet tents. Sometimes huts or private houses are considerate (indicated in the quotation of prices).

   
   
 

FOOD SERVICE :

Formula complete pension in hike, standard or superior range (according to the service contract).

Formula of basis, only breakfast in standard or superior range (according to the service contract) during the circuits, cities, and transfers. The box-lunch is a supplement during the displacements (except if it is indicated), lunch and dinner are in charge of the customers, tips are not included in the price quotation.

   


  AGENCY PERSONAL
 

THE ACCOMPANIMENT :

The complete service includes the accompaniment of a person during the whole circuit, since the date of hold in charge of the group (on demand in the origin country).

The normal service includes the necessary staff for the circuit good progress (cook, mule-drivers, services coordinator, drivers, etc.), specialized guides in relation to the chosen activities and themes.

ETHNOLOGICAL AND HISTORY :

The ethnological circuits demand and impose important material and human efforts. It is necessary to be open mind when meting populations, because these circuits objective is to discover and live humanly strong moments, in a particular environment.

The historic discoveries are themself more technical, in general don't ask for physical level, but it can be the case in some sites not so visited, with difficult acces

   

 
NATURALISTIC OBSERVATIONS :

Expeditions are not only sport nature. The itinerary is not systematically detailed because of two reasons:
   
   
To support the protection of the sites and species,
   
To respect unexpected situations, because the observations are achieved according to the opportunities offered by the nature.
   
It is about nature observation and not hunt in protected and preserved territories .
