AYPATE RUINS AND THE NORTH OF PERU

Aypate, close to Ayabaca and to Piura City, hides in wild landscapes important scanty known ruins. This circuit allows to discover a different Peru. The course starts through rich tropical plantations (coconut trees, fruit trees), continues in varied landscapes with changing climates that demands good physical condition.

THE CHALANES,THE MAN AND THE HORSE

The Chalanes expresses the harmony between the man and the horse, the heat, the desert, describes the different environments of this equestrian stay. The guide and horses will lead through forgotten and unforgettable trails . An astonishing vegetation hides a rich fauna all along the circuit before finishing the journey in Colan, one of the Pacific seasides.

DISCOVERY OF THE COAST BY SAILBOAT

This superb itinerary permits to discover the Pacific Ocean bordering the north coast of Peru by sailboat, under a subtropical climate. It is possible to realize how rich is the peruvian ocean, just by observing it's desertic beaches under the subtropical climate. Continous the sea voyage on Humboldt's current in direction to the famous archaeological site "Señor de Sipan", Chan-Chan vestiges-Trujillo city and the "Lobos de Afuera Islands", rich in sea fauna.

 

GUA PAISANO, THE WILD EARTH

Within the Peruvian Pacific coast is arid and secret. "Gua Paisano" is a popular expression that applies to the North coast of Peru. This circuit transports to a wild and preserved places in desertic landscapes. The gold researchers and the hunters are the rare inhabitants of this region that will be met in their place.

SURVIVAL IN THE DESERT OF ICA

A passionate experience is proposed in this circuit. The itinerary crosses the entirely desert of Ica between dunes and rocks in desolate valleys frequented by the foxes, the "bird of prey" of Peru: the gallinazo and some rare animals who live in these very colorful regions where the man is absent. A certain engagement and a good physical shape are required to achieve this itinerary.

THE NIÑO DESERT, ITS FAUNA

Peru possesses one of the biggest and varied deserts in the world. Its cold and fishy waters are periodicaly disrupted by a warming up of the marina current caused by "El Niño", that affects the climate in all the world.

This hike is a superb adventure in contact with the sea, winds of sand, dunes, sea lions, pelicans and also with fishermen whose courage is legendary. The visit of the Nazca Lines is included in the program.

 

TUMBES NATURAL SANCTUARIES

In the North of Peru the sea takes a different face. The coast at Tumbes hides very beautiful sanctuaries of sea mangroves rich in birds and tropical fishes. The near mountain is a shelter for flora and unexpected fauna.

THE TREASURES OF TRUJILLO AND CHICLAYO (EL SENOR DE SIPAN AND CHAN-CHAN)

These two beautiful colonial cities are well known for their clay vestiges, among the biggest in America. The Señor de Sipan is the marvel of this very bright civilization in the goldwork, it end 1400 years ago.

LACHAY NATURAL RESERVE

A few road hours from Lima is situated Lachay Reserve, is some kilometers near to the Pacific Coast, it's a sand desert. Lachay is a greenery isle surrounded by the desert and sprinkled with big rocks of diorite that have strange shapes that hides unknown ruins and beautiful rupestrian engravings.

VILLA SWAMPS , THE LEGENDS PARK

An unaccustomed visit of Lima that starts in the Reserve Villa. The swamps are situated in the periphery of the city and this zone has been miraculously preserved. It is rich in birds and has surprising landscapes. The visit of the Legends Park, which is a zoo, completes this day with a general preview of the natural wealths of Perú.

LIMA AND ITS MUSEUMS

Visit of the capital of Peru, its colonial and modern architecture, the Antropologie and Arqueologie Museum.  It can also be visited the Italian Art Museum, the Art Museum, the Puruchuco Museum, the Pachacamac Museum, the National Museum of History, the Museum of Antropologie and Arqueologie, the National Museum, the Descalzos Museum, the Inquisition Museum, Amano Museum, and the Museum of the Reserve.

BALLESTAS ISLANDS AND PARACAS

Visit by boat, the most beautiful reserve of navy fauna in the peruvian coast. The Ballestas Islands possess very important colonies of sea lions, pink flamingos, fisher eagles and seabirds as for example the Humboldt's penguin and cormorants, etc.

DESERT OF ICA AND NAZCA LINES

The most beautiful desert with superb dunes in Perú is located in Ica "the City of Sands". The circuit permits to observe from the ground or by plane the mysterious Nazca Lines. Immense stylized shapes and geometric representations that show most of the times.

AREQUIPA AND THE MEJIA LAGOONS

In the border of the beach, the Mejía Lagoons are a national reserve that constitute a unique shelter for thousands of migratory birds that travel all along the Pacific coast. According to the season these swamps permmit to observe pink flamingos, a variety of sea bird which the white heron is the most known species. The trip includes the visit of Arequipa city.
